These meters tell us what the naked eye cannot see - the signal strength & quality reading that you're TV doesn't tell you. More often than not when one channel is 'playing up' the other channels arn't far behind which means it's only a matter of time before they pixelate too. The next confusing part is that it's quite common to have an identical weak signal from TV point to TV point but the differing performances of different brands of television tuners show less or more pixelation when compared to one another:- giving the illusion that it's not TV antenna related etc.
