5 Situations that can make installing a new TV antenna connection or Foxtel socket easier.
- Having great TV / Foxtel reception before we start. Adding another Foxtel or antenna connection to your home can weaken the signal available in most situations. However, this can be resolved with installing things like aerial signal boosters or a bigger Foxtel dish. It's something we always check before we start to make sure our customers are going to get a great result.
- Having a tall roof cavity to work in. Many times, we're finding ourselves having to go inside your roof cavity and drill holes down inside the walls to run new cabling and as you can imagine the more height your cavity has the easy it is for us to work in that area. Occasionally we can't even install a new TV point or Foxtel connection in a Currumbin Gold Coast home because that certain part of your home has no workable ceiling access.
- Installing an outlet back to back on the other side of the wall. Most times we can do these installs cheaper than normal because we don't have to get in your hot roof or on top and do uncomfortable work; Generally we can put a signal splitter inside the wall beind the actual wall plate (not a suitable option for Foxtel points) for an antenna connection.

- Wardrobes. Sometimes we can install a new TV outlet on an inside wall due to having not enough roof access to work in but we can cheat by running a cable down inside a wardrobe to your desired location, that way the drilling part can be done from inside your home.
A real-life example from today, 6th March 2019 follows:
"Melissa of Currumbin Waters Gold Coast wanted some exta TV and Foxtel connections installed in her highset home. What we found when we arrived was not typical of the Gold Coast Currumbin but her home was on stilts and all the cabling typically found inside the roof cavity was under the home cable clipped to the frame. This meant that thankfully we didn't need to venture into her hot and dirty roof cavity and we got to spend our time in the shade under her highset home tacking cables to the wood."
