Here are some common questions we get asked:

  1. Can I supply my own bracket? Yes, however often we find it's not ideal for your TV and where you want to put it. Unfortunately the salesman can't see these things. Sometimes the studs don't line up or the mounting holes on your TV don't match. Occasionally the bracket although it fits your TV it is not going to allow you the flexibility to move your TV into your ideal position either. Remember the studs will dictate the location of the bracket in most cases, which is not always exactly in the middle or spaced centrally to where you want to wall mount your TV. Some models of wall brackets have flaws in them too and should be recalled.
  2. Do you supply brackets? Yes, we stock all the common brackets required to either flat mount or arm mount your TVs.
  3. Can you mount a TV on brick or concrete wall? Yes. With the correct tools we can wall mount your TV in Coomera on a brick or cement wall. Concealing the cables is the challenge.
  4. Can you hide the cables in the wall? Yes. Nearly all wall mounting jobs we are concealing cables neatly inside the wall.
  5. Will I need longer cables? 3 Metres is an ideal length, we stock and supply cables if you need them.
  6. Can you setup our equipment as well? Yes. We will finish with setting up your equipment and testing that it all works as part of the job.
  7. Do you need to know the TV model number? Generally not. Unless you TV is something out of the ordinary like a 70inch plus size or a $3000+ TV that requires special attention the job doesn't change much for us.
  8. Can you mount a sound bar? Yes, however we find they usually look much better left on the TV cabinet as typically when you wall mount them you can see the underneath or back of the bar which isn't aesthetically pleasing like the front.
  9. I have a large heavy TV can it be mounted still? Nearly always. Where it becomes more of a challenge and an expense is if you want this particular TV to be on a swing arm, the weight of the TV extended puts extreme pressure on the mount and wall.
  10. Can you wall mount on metal studs? Nearly always. Flat brackets are usually fine if installed by a professional properly although arm brackets may not be suitable for TV's that aren't super light as screws can rip out of metal studs, they are very thin and flimsy. I definitely recommend using a professional to wall mount on metal studs.

A real-life example from today, 6th April 2017 follows:

Peter in Coomera wanted a bedroom TV installed on the wall (as pictured above). Due to the positioning and not having a wall unit below it was best that a power point and TV point was installed behind the TV so it was a super clean finish. As a professional we made sure the TV point and power point was put in a position that cannot be seen when opening the door and look at the side of the TV.
