Jan and Bills from Mosman Park called upon the expert services of Sam, Tv antenna installer from TV Magic. Their house, situated in Mosman Park featured an old TV antenna and it was having trouble picking up all the channels. Bill and Jan were getting channel 9 and 10 OK most most of the time. ABC was pixelating and SBS and 7 had disappeared all together! 

Sam checked the signal and found out that it was very low. He then got up on the roof and checked their antenna. It was kind of old, but it was still doing it's job. I looked inside the roof and found a booster which proved to be faulty. I had a quick look at the rest of the antenna system, including the wall plates, coaxial cable and wallplates. The booster, along with a corroded length of coaxial cable turned out to be be the source of the problem.

I talked to Jan and Bill and they told me they were just renting the house. I got on the phone to their Mosman Park real estate agent and told them the situation. They gave me the go ahead to fix it at the owners expense. I replaced the booster, cable and a few dodgy looking connections and BINGO! Perfect reception.

Jan then told me she would like to put an extra TV point in the bedroom. The real estate wouldn't pay for that as it's non essential, but since I was already there and Jan and Bill were pensioners, I was able to give them a reduced price that they were very happy with. The new TV point proved to be a little trickier than I'd thought as the house was an unusual design, but after a little thought I was able to complete the job and of course, at the price I had quoted. I packed up my tools, vacuumed the carpet around the new TV point and left behind two very happy customers.
