First, we begin by getting ready for the day, restocking the van and ensuring that the phone is charged! From here your friendly Sunshine Coast technician, Brent, gets to his first job at around 9am. He had received a call last night from a family in Forest Glen who had asked for him to drop by for a free quote. This family was experiencing pixilation across their channels and had decided to explore why this was happening.
As part of TV Magic’s antenna installation services, we also provide reception repair and maintenance as well. Brent gets to work and tests the signal strength of this family’s current antenna, TV’s tuner and cabling. It appears that the antenna has not been installed correctly. And while the antenna is in good condition, it’s cabling has not been installed correctly and the splitters have been installed backwards!
Brent provides a free quote to fix these issues and the family admit to having a friend install the antenna. They agree to the competitive price and Brett gets to work. Brett checks all of the TVs cabling and changes this to suitable wiring. He also reinstalls the splitters in the correct way, following strict safety procedures.
As part of our antenna installation services, we also provide manual TV tuning. Brent manually tunes the TV antenna’s channels to the family’s TV and has their TV up and running in no time!
