WHAT IS A GREY SPOT IN TV TALK?

Much less severe than out of town black spots, grey spots are seen as a weak link in the TV reception chain.  As mentioned above, this could be due to all kinds of reasons.  In order for your TV antenna to reach available reception in your area, an extended antenna mast can provide solice for those missing out on their favourite shows, current affairs and relaxing television afternoon sessions.

Extended Antenna Mast installation, removal, repair, maintenance - High Antenna elevation

Getting a TV antenna up high is not a job for an electrician or anyone for that matter, who doesn't have the experience or know how. Only experienced specialists, like TV Magic who do these elevated, extended mast installations on a weekly basis should be trusted for your extended mast installation, repair, removal or maintenance.

Our extended mast installations are installed and designed with materials to withstand 150km/hr winds. (Basically they should not fall down until the roof of your house is peeling off!) Quite a substantial statement is made there, and one made by the years of experience and the test of time.

A TV signal is weaker, the further you live from the broadcasting tower. This means that extra height may be needed (particuarly if you live in a ditch/gully or down a hill and there is not much 'line-of-sight' from your roof top). The rule of thumb is as follows : Twice the distance - Twice the height of the TV antenna.
