If you are a provider of accommodation, or you require the use of 30 or more TV's for other purposes, then you probably have, or will need to have, MATV installed. MATV stands for Master Antenna Television and is the most practical way in which to provide clear, reliable TV to numerous people. MATV is perfect for businesses and organizations such as:

However, if your MATV system is an older one, there may be problems that arise with it, such as an inability to isolate problems between TV's, and the loss of coverage by the TV's that are at the end of the line. This can be remedied however by upgrading your old, Daisy-Chain system, to a newer, Star-Chain system instead.
Do You Need a MATV Upgrade?
If you are finding that your older MATV system is causing problems, then TV Magic can come out and upgrade it to a newer, Star-Chain system so you won't have complaints from tenants or guests that their TV isn't working. The problem with many of the older MATV systems is that they are a Daisy Chain type setup which means that they cannot isolate problems that may occur with one TV and therefore you will end up dealing with numerous disgruntled tenants or customers rather than just one. A newer Star-Chain installation will fix this problem by having the ability to isolate an issue, such as damaged cabling for instance, that is affecting one TV and won't end up creating problems with all of the others that follow it in the chain.
