Designing a home cinema isn’t just picking a projector and crossing your fingers. It’s about acoustics, screen-to-seat ratios, lighting control, audio balancing, cable infrastructure, and ergonomics. It’s a science—and a bit of an art... you could almost say magic!
Luckily, I happen to love both. In Eli Waters, I’ve helped design media rooms in new builds, retrofitted existing rumpus rooms, and even converted garages into fully-fledged home cinemas. I work with your space, your builder (if needed), and your preferences to create a layout that works. Whether you want stadium-style seating, smart lighting, or just killer sound—I can map it all out, piece by piece. I use software to model layouts and plan for optimal sound dispersion and visual alignment. Then I help source the right gear (if needed) or design around your current tech. And when you’re ready, I handle the install too—no need to chase three different trades. Design is where the magic starts. I just make sure it follows through to the final “wow”.
