FYI, do you know why sound bar installations are so popular nowadays? Because TV's manufacturers are really focused on the display panel and leave little room for decent speakers, it's all about how thin they can make them. It's actually quite common now for the last few years for customers to call us to help them install and sometimes wall mount their sound bars in Worongary.

 4 Common mistakes people make when installing their sound bars.

1. Using the wrong cables. Often customers in Worongary call us to help them with their sound-bars because the sound is too quiet or the surround sound it's working. We usually find it's because they've used cables that work, but not as good as it should if the correct cables where used.
2. Wrong settings on the TV. Nearly all sound bar installations are meant to work with the TV remote and you shouldn't require the actual sound bar remote to change the volume when you're done. Sometimes there is one or more hidden setting within the TV's menu that can prevent the TV remote from controlling the sound bar.
3. Sound compatibility. Your TV can output sound in different formats and some of these won't work for all the movies or shows you're watching. You might find that some movies on your Foxtel box for instance are really quiet compared to the other channels. It can be quite technical to fix this depending on your TV and you'll probably need an expert to come out to your house to resolve it.
4. It won't power on or off with TV remote. Again, this is probably caused by unobvious setting or two on your TV and sometimes your sound-bar as well.

A real-life example from today, 9th April 2019 follows:

"Melissa was having trouble setting up her new sound-bar she bought to get with her lounge-room TV. She had he TV wall mounted a little while ago by us and since we hid all the cables inside the wall, she didn't know how to plug in her sound bar the same way, without seeing cables. When we arrived, we took her wall mounted TV off the wall and ran new cabling down inside the wall for the new sound bar installation at her Worongary home. After the cabling was done, we lifted her TV back onto the wall and completed her sound-bar setup and installation process. Now, since we know what we're doing, she only needs the TV remote still, as it controls both the Sound-bar volume and the TV as normal."

"Norman wanted to wall mount a TV in his outdoor entertainment area at his Worongary home so he could watch the football outside with his friends while cooking on the BBQ.
