Want your TV wall mounted in the living room? Above the fireplace? Outside pergola? In the Bali-hut? Your kids' bedrooms? Up high in the corner? Hanging from the ceiling? The bathroom? :) You name it, we've probably wall mounted a TV there or hung a sound bar installation.

At TV Magic Wall Mounting Reedy Creek we're perfectionists! Your TV will be 100% level, all the cables hidden, as close to the wall as possible and safe as a bank-vault. It gives us great delight to install our customers TV's on the wall as we know you'll be really happy you did when you see the finished job.

5 Common TV Wall mounting mistakes we see often done by amateurs or other trades

  1. Mounting the TV too high. I often shake my head is disgust when I see TV's mounted by DIYers or electricians etc. Commonly they'll pick the height of the TV for the customer who usually says, "you're the expert, what ever you think". Most of the time they'll mount the TV too high and the customer gets a sore neck from looking up from their couch. And or the TV is too high to hide the cables in the wall as beams are now blocking the cable run.
  2. Using too cables that are too short. Often an amateur will try using their existing cables for their TV equipment like DVD players and Foxtel boxes etc, and run them through the wall or leave them dangling but only to find that they are impractically too short when they finish.
  3. Poor choice of bracket. Nearly all TV wall brackets will say that they suit your size of TV, which is true, but you have to find a bracket that fits your TV and suits the wall stud structure at the location where you want to mount it. (Our TV Wall Mounting experts in Reedy Creek always keep a range of TV brackets to sort out any TV Wall Mounting situation they come across.)
  4. Cutting the cable hiding holes too high. If you don't have x-ray vision like us experts you can easily cut the cable run holes in the wrong locations which will make your job really, really hard and or not possible, unless of course you're cool with plaster repair work afterwards.
  5. Too close to the wall. You have to allow some room behind the TV in most cases for the cables to actually plug in to the back of the TV and not be kinked when you put it on the wall. I've seen many wrecked, hard to replace cables from TV installations that are too close to the wall for the model. Just another way you can mess up a TV Wall Mount in Reedy Creek ;)

A real-life example from today, 1st April 2019 follows:

"Keith is renovating his home in Reedy Creek and wanted several TV's wall mounted with all the cables hidden, a clean finish under the TV with no cabinet or anything. When we arrived, we realised Keith's TV antenna points we not near his TV's and that we're going to need to install some new TV antenna outlets behind his TV as part of the TV wall mounting job, lucky we're jack of all TV trades and it is a simple task for us. Once we installed his TV's on the wall and a couple of sound-bars under it we made it really easy for an electrician to do his bit (move the power point up the wall behind the TV; Note this is only required if you don't have a TV cabinet below your TV to cover it.)"

"Lily already had her TV's mounted on the wall in her Reedy Creek Gold Coast home but she wanted to upgrade them to bigger TV's. Once she had the new big TV's at her home, she called us over to swap the TV's. As explained to Lily on the phone it's probably not going to be as simple as take one TV down and replace it with the other, generally and as with her TV's we had to re-install the TV bracket mounted to the wall to a different position in order to get her new TV's to sit where she wanted them vertically. After we completed the job Lily showed us her media room and asked for some advice which we were more than happy to do."
