Here's a short list of things to check if your satellite signal is pixelating or dropping out.
1. Satellite line of sight. Hop on your roof (safely) make sure there's nothing in the way of the satellite dish. Sometimes, trees grow in the way or neighbours build higher homes. If this is the case, you may need to relocate your satellite dish to another location on your roof.
2. Loose brackets on the dish. Unlike TV antennas, satellites have to be millimetre accurate. If your satellite installation moves at all you're going to lose the satellite signal significantly. 3. Rusting apart. Satellite dishes need to be in perfect condition to get enough signal in to avoid pixilation and drop outs. Check out your dish, if it's rusting out and or falling apart. You're going to need it replaced.
