Have you ever wondering how awesome your TV will look once it's wall mounted? I can tell you from my vast experience, no body ever wishes they hadn't got their TV wall mounting done. And sound bars? They look just as awesome on the wall when installed by a professional (with no visible cabling and dead level with the TV).

I've wall mounted many hundreds of TV's on the Gold Coast including Miami and Nobby Beach over the years. Nowadays, nearly every TV gets installed on the wall. It just looks so much better! Did you know wall mounting Sound Bars is usually trickier than wall mounting a TV? This is because most sound bars are quite thin leaving cable concealment a challenge. They are also normally hard to mount level perfectly as they usually lack adjustability on their wall anchors. Another challenge is also getting the distance perfectly parallel with the TV (which should also be dead level) and in the absolute centre. The lack of adjustability when mounting sound bars means this job is for a perfectionist installer. (4) Dangers of wall mounting a Sound Bar or TV yourself.

1. Drilling into electrical cabling. Most walls in your home have electrical cabling in them, particularly in locations where your TV is going. The electrical cables are right next to the studs too, so if you having a guess at where the studs are, you could easily hit an electrical cable.

2. Drilling into water or gas pipes. Pipes also run inside your wall cavities, and there's no reliable method of knowing where they are going to be. A lot of average stud finders will alert you to them the same way as the studs, so an amateur can definitely make the mistake of drilling into one thinking it's a wall stud.

3. TV ripping off the wall. I've seen many a dodgy TV wall installation from DIYer's or electricians. They are usually using incorrect screws or insufficient anchors for the TV.

4. Arm brackets. When installing arm brackets (full motion TV brackets), just because the bracket is handling the weight, you have to plan for the event that someone leans on the TV while it's extending, essentially tripling the load on the wall anchors. Now, what is that was a kid? And the TV came smashing down on them? You could be sued for negligence.

A real-life example from today, 27th May 2019 follows:

"Chris brought a very large 86inch TV and wanted an experienced TV installer to wall mount it for him at his Miami Gold Coast home. I'd have to agree with Chris, I'd be calling in the TV installation experts too; This TV was huge! And expensive! Once we prepped the TV for installation, which included installing the TV wall bracket on the wall and running the necessary cabling inside the wall cavity neatly, we actually needed three people to safely lift his beast of a TV onto the wall."

"Blesse sold her home in Nobby Beach Gold Coast and needed some help removing her wall mounted TVs and associated equipment so the removalists could pack them. When we arrived, we found Blesse had five TV's including one that was mounted about 8ft off the floor! To get this TV off the wall, we had to hire a work platform, which was an interested experience.
