Are there limitations on where we can have a TV or Foxtel outlet installed?
On a single storey home. For an inside wall, if a person can physically get above the top of the wall to drill with reasonable room to move in, then as long as the cavity isn't blocked by any abnormalities like, extra horizontal studs or insulation, we should be able to get a new TV outlet cable to the bottom of your wall. Otherwise, you might be limited to having a new TV socket installed up higher than normal, which can suit wall mounted TV's. A visit from your local Burleigh Waters TV and Foxtel point installer will highlight any potential issues, and worst case you might have to choose a different location or a "out of the box" cabling method. (running cabling down inside a built-in cupboard comes to mind).
Two storey homes. If you're wanting to get a new TV point or Foxtel connection installed in your Burleigh Waters home upstairs, the same conditions apply as a single storey home (detailed above), so it's usually doable. If you want to install a new Foxtel or TV socket downstairs, that's why things can get tricky.
Downstairs on a two-storey home. For various reasons we can't run new cabling to an internal wall once the home is built. So, if you have existing cable outlets on an internal (or external) wall that you're not using or don't want, which are running up to the roof, then we can do things like convert them from Foxtel to normal TV or vice versa on your Burleigh Waters Gold Coast home. If you're wanting a new TV outlet on a wall that forms the outside of you home than we can look at running cabling down the outside of your home (inside conduit usually). This is an option, but on some houses it would look too ugly, in which case you're pretty much out of luck.
So how does it work when you call us?

When we've got a pretty good idea of what's going to be involved from a cabling installation point of view, we can give you a ball park quote. If you're happy to proceed our installer will book a time with you. When we arrive we'll inspect your home properly and give you a fixed up-front quote before starting work (hopefully straight away).
