Do you live in Coolangatta Gold Coast and need help with your TV antenna issues? If you've got bad TV reception, no TV reception or no TV aerial at all? I can help you. With hundreds of 5-star reviews online from our Coolangatta and Gold Coast customers, you know your in safe hands!

Did you know that most homes in Coolangatta can pick up TV reception from multiple TV antenna broadcasting transmitters? What that means is, if you auto-tune your TV, instead of picking up the TV channel transmitting tower your TV antenna is actually pointing at, your TV might pick up double or triple ups of the same channel and give you a bunch of channels above number 300, or worse, store the weak ones only. The real issue is, if your TV puts a channel in that's from a weak transmission, let's say Lismore into your primary channels 1 -> 99, you might think you have bad TV reception, when really you don't.

The solution for tuning in your TV in Coolangatta properly, so you get the best TV reception, is to use the manual tune-in feature. But of course, you kind of need to know what you're doing. So, if you need a professional antenna installer / installation and tune in service in Coolangatta, to ensure you get the best TV reception. Call Dan on 0484 342 222

5 Things that can make working on a roof dangerous.

  1. Steep slope. This one is pretty obvious, and we do come across it. It can be manageable safely on a single storey home, but on a multi-storey home it's usually too dangerous. These homes really need their TV antenna installed while it's under construction and extra safety is in place like scaffolding. Some antenna installers will have harnesses with them, but honestly, if you need to wear a harness then it's probably too risky to begin with.
  2. Paint dust. Before I get on a tin roof that has a potential slippery slope on it, I'll always run my hand over it to see if it's covered in paint dust or not. If it is, it can make the job very dangerous. Rin roofs are risky enough due to the lack of grip; we pretty much have to wall on the screw heads only. If you add paint dust to it, you better be very very careful.
  3. No gutters, or gutter guards. Most ladder guards / protective guards sit in the gutter, so it the gutter isn't there, then our ladder is only resting on the gutter edge, with nothing to strap it down on.
  4. New roof tiles. Most new tiled roofs tend to have a gloss coat applied to them. This makes them very slippery to walk on in comparison to an older roof. Worst yet, unlike a slippery tin roof, there's no screw heads to walk on.
  5. Afternoon / Morning dew. One of the very few falls I've had while working on roofs doing digital antenna installations in Coolangatta was from late afternoon dew forming on the roof while I was up there. It's invisible and is like walking on ice!

A real-life example from today, 27th April 2019 follows:

"Warren lives in a building in Coolangatta Gold Coast, he was having trouble with his TV reception. Generally, in buildings, everybody is getting their TV antenna signal from the same antenna installation system. So, when we get calls to high-rise apartments like in Warren's case, we first need to check whether it's just his unit or the whole building, either way we can fix the TV reception issue if the correct party is arranging the repair. In Warren's case, it was just his unit. When we arrived, we found his Tv aerial socket was heavily corroded, inside the splitter was corroded to. Along with replacing his wall plate, internal splitter, cable terminations, we also replaced his poor-quality TV aerial cable to his TV. After we had done the TV antenna signal was great again. Thanks Warren from Cooly."

"Quinton called TV Magic to his old QLD'er home in Coolangatta today to look at replacing his TV antenna installation. When our installer arrived, we found that he only had one TV point and a straight run up to two antennas, one for NSW and the other QLD. The whole kit was old and in disrepair. So, we replaced his TV aerials, mast, cabling, wall plates, a whole new kit. Quinton was really happy; he finally can watch his TV channels without any bad TV reception annoyances."
